Frequently asked questions

Do you have a minimum stay?

We have a 2 night minimum, although we welcome longer stays. Standard arrival is from 3pm, and departure by 10am.

What do we need to bring?

Beds have hotel quality duvets/pillows and are made up with low allergy bedding. Towels are provided in the bathroom, along with hand wash and shampoo/body wash from The Scottish Soap Company, and separate towels are provided for the pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, crockery, glassware and pans. Tea towels and washing up liquid are provided.

You will find tea, coffee, sugar, salt/pepper and oil, plus some milk and Scottish biscuits for that essential cup of tea when you arrive!

In the house, you'll find the log baskets full together with kindling and firelighters. If you run out, extra logs can be purchased for £5 if required. There is also a torch and first aid kit should you need them. Gas for the BBQ is provided - just bring your food!

In the cabins, a pack of logs for the chimineas are provided, with more available to purchase.

If there is anything else we have forgotten, please feel free to ask.

What about parking?

There are two spaces available for the house. If for some reason you need more, we should be able to accomodate them if you speak to us. Please note that EV charging is not permitted.

There is a dedicated space for each of the two cabins just a short (30m) walk away.

Is there WiFi / TVs?

There is a TV in the house with access to NOW TV (Sky channels), Netflix, and Amazon Prime.

In the cabins, there are no TVs but there is WiFi across the whole site for you to connect your own device to.

Can I book the whole site?

Yes, absolutely, subject of course to availability. For a larger family holiday, there's plenty of room to gather together in the house during the day/evening and then split off to sleep at night. The cabins sleep two people each, and the house four people, so all together we can take up to eight people.

Please note that our quiet property is not suitable for stag/hen or similar parties.

What is there to do nearby?

Lots! From beaches to glens, quiet walks in the country or exploring Dundee, St Andrews or Aberdeen, golf, fishing, distilleries, family farm visits and much more. We can recommend the Visit Angus website (https://visitangus.com/) - lots of suggestions for things to do and places to go, and they also have a helpful app.
