Our two cosy and stylish holiday cabins offer a unique retreat or short break opportunity. Each 6 x 3m cabin is perfect for two people, with a sense of space and good design. In a wooded area near to Redroofs by the Woods holiday cottage, and located next to farm fields, close to Balgavies Loch and Nature Reserve, and beside Montreathmont Forest. There is a sense of country calm and nature connection, but within 15 minutes of Forfar, Brechin and Montrose, with several small villages even closer. A perfect mix of country and town.
Our thoughtfully designed cabins offer all the comforts of home in a compact and stylish space. Bumblebee cabin and Barn Owl cabin sit next to each other in a wooded area, separated by privacy fencing. The cabins are a short walk down a lit gravel path from the parking area. In each cabin you will find a comfortable double bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, an en-suite shower room, a cozy table with bar stools for meals, and comfy armchairs sitting next to a small coffee table.
Step outside to enjoy the fresh air and stunning views on your veranda with picnic table and chiminea. Each cabin is fully insulated and heated, ensuring a comfortable stay year-round.

Cabin description
Open plan living/kitchen/bedroom: induction hob, dual zone air fryer, fridge and kettle. Tea bags, sugar, filter coffee plus cafetière, good range of glasses, crockery and cutlery supplied. Comfy seating with coffee table, and a breakfast bar dining area.
Double bed and chest of drawers, USB charging points, hairdryer.
Shower room: With walk-in shower, hand basin with cupboard underneath and toilet. Heated towel rail.
Bed linen and towels included. No TV, but Wi-Fi included for use with your own devices. Private parking.
Included in your booking is free use of our small indoor heated swimming pool 100m away (6.5m x 3m, depth 1.1m, open May-September, shared between cabins and house). Bike store. Private parking. No smoking. Sorry, no pets. Our quiet property is not suitable for stag/hen or similar parties.
